Gunjabong (Peak), 198m high, is known as a sacred place that cherishes a shamanism as well as a mountain castle on the west coast.
It was a transportation hub connecting the Han River delta with Namyang Bay in the Three Kingdom era. An old zelkova tree stands on the mountain top. Many legends are passed on concerning this sacred mountain. |
