Soraesan (Mountain)
Soraesan (Mountain), 299.4m high, offers an outstanding landscape that many residents from nearby cities like Incheon and Bucheon visit to enjoy. The mountain’s forest bathing area offers various physical exercise equipment, ‘reader woodland’, and ‘sport facilities woodland’ equipped with various exercising equipment made of logs and ropes. Many use this as their resting place to remove accumulated fatigue and tension from their busy daily life.
Further, Siheungsoraesanmaaesang (Rock-carved buddha statue in Mt.Soraesan) breast is 15 meters high, one of the highest in Korea. Its historic value has been highly evaluated as it was designated as a National Treasures 1324 in 2001. |
